Most people think of volunteering as joining a group of people at a certain place and a certain time to perform actions that benefit others. These days, there seems to be alot more that you can do to help others from within your own home - even whilst still dressed in your own pyjamas!
This to me is a mindset change as I think people aren't even aware that you can help charities / worthy causes beyond your own doorstep. Almost everybody I know has no idea about these micro volunteer opportunities that exist out there, so I'm wondering whether other people on this discussion board volunteer their time from their own home and if you do, what do you do - and do you wear pyjamas to do it?
